The 3-Day Raw Food Detox program

For three days eat no cooked food.

Do not take tea, coffee or soft drinks like cola.

Drink only warm or cold water or green/fruit tea.

You can also have freshly squeezed fruit juice that you squeeze yourself (not the kind that is sold on the supermarket shelves.)

For eating, take raw fruit and vegetables.

This is not a salad diet. There is a variety of fruits and vegetables available and you should eat those.

Some examples would be – baby sweet corn, avocados, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, cabbage and mushrooms etc.

Listen to your body even while you eat the raw foods, and adjust the variety and quantity accordingly.

Do include vegetables with fruits to ensure a good mix of nutrients.

You can also add nuts and sprouting beans for protein and minerals.

Doing this for three days is the secret of the 3 day detox (or detox in 3 days). Once you have done this for three days, chances are that your body will feel lighter and fresher as well as more energetic.

While in the detox in 3 day program, some people feel slight physical discomfort. To reduce the effects of this physical discomfort, you should drink lots of water and do simple exercise like walking.

Once you have completed the detox in 3 day program, you can continue to consume fresh fruits and vegetables as a part of your regular life. This change in lifestyle is good.
